Team Sky have announced a new logo ahead of the 2014 season. The official Team Sky logo will replace the previous Sky Pro Cycling logo on all Team Sky platforms.
In other news, the team has announced that 10 of its riders have signed new contracts keeping them at Team Sky for the coming season. The Team Sky website reports that four of the nine-man Tour de France line-up have put pen to paper on new deals, with 2013 Tour winner and team leader Chris Froome, Peter Kennaugh, David López and Ian Stannard adding to the mid-season contract extension of Richie Porte.
"In Kennaugh, Stannard and Froome, the team sees three British founding riders continue their successful journey with Team Sky," announced the team website.
"After two strong years in the pro ranks, Luke Rowe followed suit alongside Salvatore Puccio, the latter buoyed by a season which saw the Italian don the famous maglia rosa in his Giro d'Italia debut.
Sergio Henao added wins to his immense promise in 2013 and the Colombian will continue his development with a new contract going forward. Sergio will be joined in the squad by cousin Sebastian Henao in 2014 - one of four new signings alongside Nathan Earle, Mikel Nieve and Philip Deignan.
The team also took steps to retain experienced riders, with another founding member, Chris Sutton, staying on with the team. Few riders have more Grand Tour knowledge than Danny Pate and Xabier Zandio, with both men also lining up in Team Sky colours next season.
After a landmark season Chris Froome said: 'This has been an incredible year for me and I'm delighted to finish it off by signing a new contract with Team Sky. I've been with this team since the start and I know this is the right place for me to continue to grow as a rider.
'It's impossible to win races without the right team beside you so I'd like to thank everyone at the team for their continued support. It's an honour to be a Team Sky rider and I hope to play a big part of its success for years to come."
With a strong team now deep into winter training, Team Sky Performance Manager Rod Ellingworth said: "Everyone is excited to kick things off again in 2014 and we do so with what we believe is the most talented team in the world.
'We've consolidated what is an incredibly strong group of guys over the winter. The team's core remains intact and that's important going forward.
'Everyone is committed to keep improving and we always look to provide the best environment for riders to do that.'"
