Ready for 3906m of climbing? The North York Moors want a word…
Entries are open for Struggle North York Moors – one of Struggle Events’ Yorkshire trilogy, which rank among the UK’s toughest sportives.
This year sees three epic new routes to choose from: the classic 189km distance, a 130km route ideal for aspiring riders, and a brand-new 250km ultra featuring 10 iconic climbs in the North York Moors National Park.

The event takes place on Sunday 5 July 2026 from Sutton Bank National Park Centre.
The Moors was already the toughest ride in the series, by the organisers’ reckoning, but the Ultra takes this to the next level. Notorious climbs including Rosedale Chimney and Glaisdale Horror mean riders will accumulate up to 3906m of vertical!
Only 250 places are available for the Ultra, so don’t miss out if you’re ready to go long – and high.
