Dunoon Dirt Dash 2026

Join us for a cycling event and a fun and inclusive weekend in a great natural environment.
The Lezyne Dunoon Dirt Dash bikepacking event in Scotland takes you in two days through the stunning surroundings of the Cowal Peninsula near Glasgow to enjoy the the rugged beauty of Scotland’s Adventure Coast on some of the best gravel trails in Scotland.Â

At a glance:
- The Dunoon Dirt Dash is a gravel bikepacking event split over two days with an overnight camp.
- When:Â Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 September 2026
- Format:Â non-timed, self-supported gravel cycling event with overnight campingÂ
- Route (provisional):Â Day 1: 65km with ca. 1,300m of climbing, Day 2: 70km with ca. 1,000m of climbing. Some technical sections.
- Entries: £99 (£15 discount for Sportive Club members) Enter here
- Navigation:Â The route will be supplied electronically before the event. The course is not marked, you are responsible for your own navigation.
- Bikes:Â mountain bikes & gravel bikes with a minimum recommended tire size of 45mm, which must be in good working order, e-bikes are alowed, but please inform us when riding an e-bike when you sign up
- Terrain:Â Singletrack, gravel paths, forestry roads, public roads and cycle paths
- Start:Â Saturday 9am at Argyll Hotel
- Finish:Â Sunday afternoon/evening at Argyll Hotel

Entry includes:
- GPX file for the appr. 83 mile (135 km) gravel bikepacking event route through the stunning Cowal Peninsula near Glasgow
- Electronic Rider briefing
- Support vehicle if you need rescuing
- Start and finish at a hotel
- Overnight camping ca. halfway round
- Chilled out camp location
- Evening meal
- Tasty breakfast
