Pedal Causeway Coast 2026
28 June @ 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Pedal series is organised by Parkinson’s UK as a series of exciting cycling events across the country. With stunning scenery from rivers and valleys to dramatic climbs, pedal with us for an unforgettable experience on two wheels.
Three distance options are on offer: Bronze (27 miles), Silver (55 miles) and Gold (100 miles).
Bronze is our gentlest route. It follows the dramatic Causeway Coast overlooking Whitepark Bay and passing the ruins of Dunseverick Castle, before finishing back at Ballycastle.
At 55 miles the Silver is our intermediate route. After following stunning coastal roads, you’ll be tackling some challenging climbs in the Glens of Antrim and a final descent through Ballypatrick Forest.
Ready for a serious challenge? Pedal through three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in our 100 mile route. Follow the Causeway Coast to Binevenagh and take on a true test of endurance with tough climbs through Antrim Coast’s rolling hills.
The ride start/finish is at Sheskburn Recreation Centre, Ballycastle.
There is free parking around Ballycastle.
All participants will receive:
- Fully signposted route for each distance option
- First aid and mechanical support on the course
- Frequent checkpoints with refreshments and snacks, plus a lunch stop for 55 and 100 mile riders
- Free sports massage at the finish line
- Bespoke finisher’s medal
- Photography
- Chip timing
