The Border Randonnee 2026
9 May @ 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

2026 sees the 6th edition of The Border Randonnee, a road cycling event for up to 150 entries. There are three different routes to choose from that enable a wide range of cycling abilities to partake and enjoy.
A charity event run by volunteers, it is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Shropshire/Powys border countryside. It starts and finishes in Minsterley with a checkpoint in Clun.
Many riders cycle out and back from Shrewsbury to the event, adding around 20 miles to their chosen route. Free parking is available at the Minsterley Parish Hall Start venue.
In 2026 the Randonnee is raising funds for Shrewsbury Food Hub and Rotary charities. The event has become a favourite with locals and an increasing number of entries from further afield.
