The Wales Sportive 2026

Taking place on Saturday 27th June 2026, this flagship event offers riders the opportunity to experience some of the most spectacular roads in Wales, with a route designed to showcase the beauty, challenge and atmosphere that make this sportive so special.

Starting and finishing in the iconic seaside town of Tenby, the Wales Sportive combines outstanding scenery with first-class event delivery; every mile has been carefully chosen to deliver a truly exceptional cycling experience.

With four distances available, 20, 40, 80 and 112 miles, the event welcomes a wide range of riders, from those seeking a shorter, scenic challenge to experienced cyclists looking to push themselves over a more demanding course. Whatever distance you choose, you can expect excellent on-course support and a finish line experience worthy of the effort.

Riders will set off from Salterns Car Park in Tenby, with registration available on Thursday & Friday. Each participant will receive a full event pack, including a bib number, bike number, helmet stickers and timing chip, ensuring a smooth and well-organised start to the day.

The Wales Sportive is built around quality at every stage. The course is fully signed and marshalled, feed stations are positioned across the longer routes, and riders can look forward to a strong level of support throughout. The 40-mile route includes one feed station, the 80-mile route includes two, and the 112-mile route includes three, helping participants stay fuelled and focused from start to finish.

Entry is priced at £35 for the 20-mile route, £40 for the 40-mile route, £60 for the 80-mile route and £75 for the 112-mile route, with a payment plan also available.

At the finish, riders will be able to enjoy the sense of achievement that comes with completing one of Wales’ most scenic cycling events, along with a finisher’s medal, access to the recovery zone, and sports massage facilities to aid post-ride recovery.
