Tour de Dales Challenge Ride 2026

The Tour de Dales is a challenging and scenic charity ride in support of Cystic Fibrosis Care, organised in association with Leyburn cycling group in Yorkshire.

With three fully supported routes, there is something for every rider:

• Elite: 110km | 2,188m elevation
• Intermediate: 90km | 1,457m elevation
• Short: 55km | 716m elevation

Starting from Tennants Auctioneers near Leyburn, all routes take in the spectacular roads of Wensleydale and Bishopdale. Elite riders will tackle iconic climbs including Kidstones Pass, Fleet Moss, Buttertubs, Grinton Moor and Greet Moor, while enjoying quiet lanes, panoramic views and carefully chosen routes curated by Leyburn Cycling Group members.

Feed stations with food and drinks are included throughout the day, and riders can expect stunning scenery, great camaraderie and a properly challenging day in the saddle — all while raising funds for a fantastic cause.
