SUMMARY:The Hertfordshire 100 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Hertfordshire 100 will take place on August 30th 2026. The event will help protect rhinos from the threat of poaching. \n\n\n\nThis sportive was our first and we’ve branched out a lot since then\, but this ride will always be special to us. This year we’ve done a lot of work tweaking the route. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA Rewarding Sportive with Challenges to Suit Riders of all Levels\n\n\n\nThe 3 stunning routes take advantage of the great rural roads and allow riders to choose their challenge of either 100 miles\, 64 miles or 33 miles. \n\n\n\nThe Helping Rhinos Hertfordshire 100 sportive has probably some of the nicest scenery and rolling countryside roads in England\, and is just outside of London. Most of the cyclists from the surrounding areas flock to this area to take in the quiet\, rural roads that are coupled with demanding hill climbs to satisfy all types of rider. \n\n\n\nThe route heads out from Brookmans Park through Brickendon with rolling countryside roads that allow you to get warmed up before hitting some undulating hills that really will get you warmed up! Find out more > \n\n\n\n\n\nThe route continues west towards Welwyn Garden City through little picturesque villages such as Ardeley and Weston before heading south back towards Tewin. DESCRIPTION:Ware’s Cambridge? has been one of the most talked about Sportives of recent years\, we’ve decided to apply some of that magic to Essex. Ware’s Essex? will take place on Sunday the 4th of October 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ve designed this route so that you’ll be able to take advantage of some of the great roads that the 2013 TDF took in and experience some beautifully tarmacked surfaces. Whatever the weather throws at us\, this route is made for the beginning of Autumn\, keeping your motivation high for the coming months. \n\n\n\nThe Last Century of the Season\n\n\n\nWith the autumn months fast approaching\, SportiveUK have come up with the perfect way for you to get your last big bike ride on the clock. Whether it’s the Long 100 or the short 40\, there’s something for everyone looking to keep those legs moving. Don’t fancy the full Essex 100 loop?  There’s the medium distance of 70 miles that will take you as far as Finchingfield\, you’ll be able to tuck into the home made flapjacks\, cheeses and crackers.
