DESCRIPTION:The Mendip Murmuration is a gathering of like-minded individuals coming together with a common purpose.  \n\n\n\nRiding your bike through some of Somerset’s stunning landscapes. Cruising and carving over and around Cheddar Gorge\, Crook Peak\, Black Down and Rowberrow Warren will make for an amazing 26.5 mile route that will leave you wanting more.  \n\n\n\nLimestone rock gardens\, flowing single tracks\, wide open hill top trails with stunning views and cracking forest trails show you the best the Mendips has to offer.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Mendip Murmuration is now firmly cemented as one of our three Somerset based off-road cycling events now known as “The Triple’. Over the last eight years we have developed a fantastic working relationship with The National Trust\, The Mendip Hills National Landscape Service\, Warren Farm and the various landowners to make this great mountain biking event part of the ‘Top of the Gorge’ Adventure Weekend’\,  a real celebration of outdoor adventure in the Mendip Hills as part of an organised Adventure Weekend.  \n\n\n\nA variety of running and cycling challenges are already part of the plan with more activity options to follow\, and our collective aim is to offer people a range of fun and enjoyable events – which obviously includes the Mendip Murmuration. DESCRIPTION:The Exmoor Explorer is a non-competitive mountain biking event held in the beautiful Exmoor National Park in South West England.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOpen moorland\, woodland trails\, natural single track and secluded combes\, the Explorer doesn’t disappoint. This iconic Exmoor cycling event was started 26 years ago by Team Zoyland and Channel Events are immensely proud to have taken it on from 2017. \n\n\n\nWhichever route option you choose\, you will be able to access areas of Exmoor that are usually restricted. SUMMARY:Quantock Quake 2026
DESCRIPTION:2026 will see the thirteenth edition of Quantock Quake held in the beautiful Quantock Hills National Landscape\, Somerset\, South West England. \n\n\n\nIn 2023 organisers Channel Events moved the event to the Saturday to celebrate the event’s tenth year: it worked so well they’ve decided to keep it on Saturday! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Quantock Hills are a mecca for mountain biking and you’ll once again treated to stunning open moorland\, woodland trails\, natural single track and secluded combes. The Quantocks has it all! \n\n\n\nNow very much established in the South West cycling calendar and the catalyst for building ‘The Triple’\, you’ll be kicking yourself if you miss it.  \n\n\n\nWhether you choose the main or extended route\, you will be able to access areas of the Quantocks usually restricted by access legislation\, as well as riding some of the area’s classic single tracks.
