SUMMARY:Kentish Killer 2027
DESCRIPTION:The Kentish Killer sportive marks the start of the cycling season in South East England – regarded by clubs and riders as one of the UK’s toughest\, most demanding sportives. \n\n\n\nThe Kentish Killer is held three weeks after the Hell of the Ashdown (HOTA)\, another extremely testing sportive from Flamme Rouge Events. Together\, these two events give riders a benchmark on their winter training progress as well as bragging rights for ‘doing the double’ for those brave enough and successful in completing both sportives. \n\n\n\nTwo routes are on offer for 2027: the long is 108km with 1730m elevation gain\, while the short course is a punchy 64km with 963m of elevation. Both routes include a number of well known and feared climbs and cols including Row Dow\, Bayleys\, Ide\, Carters and Sundridge! \n\n\n\nAs with previous editions of the sportive\, our charity partner will again be Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance (KSSAA) – a charity with strong ties to the local community & many cyclists. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLong 108 KM \n\n\n\n\n\nShort 64 KM \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nENTER NOW

SUMMARY:Hell of the Ashdown 2027
DESCRIPTION:As hill-packed early season challenges go\, Hell of the Ashdown is right up there with the UK’s best. Its challenging parcours and the risk of “interesting” weather in February has if anything helped cement its iconic status\, with recent editions selling out within 24 hours of entries going on sale. \n\n\n\nThe 102km route has just over 1750 metres of climbing\, with notable climbs including Toys Hill\, Markbeech\, Wych Cross\, Twyford Lane\, Kidds Hill (The Wall)\, Groombridge and Bayleys Hill. \n\n\n\nThe next edition takes place on Sunday 28 February 2027. \n\n\n\nHOTA has a new event for 2027 at Lingfield Racecourse and a new route. Don’t expect it to be any easier – they’ve found some more hills! \n\n\n\nEntries open 5 November 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLong 105 KM \n\n\n\n\n\n1900 M \n\n\n\n\n\n8 Climbs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nENTER NOW
