Struggle Events celebrate 10th birthday with new 250km Ultra route
Yorkshire sportive specialists Struggle will be 10 next year. And they’re celebrating the only way they know how: with an extremely hilly new sportive of course!

Struggle:Ten will be the 10th anniversary edition of Struggle Dales, and they’ve gone large to mark the occasion.
“After the success of our Ultra 200km route in 2025, we’ve launched a 250km Ultra featuring 10 iconic Yorkshire climbs – and it has nearly sold out in one day,” say Struggle.
Taking place on Sunday 24th May 2026 from the spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, the new route will treat riders to some of the country’s toughest cycling terrain over ten iconic cycling climbs in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
If the Ultra sounds a little too, well, ultra, two shorter options are on offer. “We also have a 165km classic Struggle route, which is a new route for 2026,” say Struggle.
The shorter 120km route will return too, offering aspiring riders a Struggle taster. That option proved extremely popular on launch this year.
With three routes now on offer, there’s no excuse not to join Struggle for a celebration of their big birthday.
