Spring colours: evolve adds three new designs to CIMA race bike
Evolve, the Taiwan bike brand whose debut model the CIMA launched last year to wide acclaim, has unveiled three new colourways for 2026.
We reviewed the CIMA here on Sportive.com last year and were overwhelmingly impressed: lightweight, aero, and featuring top-quality construction complete with finishing kit to match, the CIMA is a worthy rival to the best offerings from more established brands.

Review: Evolve hit the heights with ultralight race-ready CIMA
At just 650g for a raw frame, the CIMA is an ideal platform for a top-spec build. Virtually the only quibble we could find – it would be overstating things to call it a criticism – was the prominent placement of the brand’s motto, “only the fittest survive”, on the downtube.
This year’s models have dispensed with the slogans, and all three new designs feature refreshingly simple evolve branding. More to the point, they also feature some of the nicest paintwork you’ll find on an off-the-shelf race frame.
Here’s a quick look at the three new options.
CIMA Speed – Navy White

The first design in evolve’s 2026 catalog, Navy White combines “deep navy blue and clean white with a glossy finish, balancing modern fashion with timeless appeal. It’s a design that speaks to the future of cycling while honouring the enduring strength of nature,” say evolve.
“The navy blue gradient and subtle optical illusion lines create a sleek, powerful silhouette — elegant yet full of energy.
“Patterns on the fork, chainstay, and seatstay symbolize growth and resilience, reflecting every cyclist who pushes beyond their limits. This design is a tribute to perseverance and strength.”
CIMA Area Edition – Taiwan, China

We also like this second design, which evolve say is a tribute to their home, Taiwan: “a cycling paradise”.
The design is based on the CIMA Speed – Navy White pattern, but blends silver and Morandi blue with a glossy finish in celebration of Taiwan’s rich cycling culture.
“The soft silver and muted blue evoke sea and sky — serene, open, and endless. Inspired by Taiwan’s dramatic coastline, the flowing lines mirror ocean waves, capturing the calm rhythm of riding along the shore,” say evolve.
Intriguingly, the top tube is also adorned with a number referencing Taiwan’s most famous hill climb, Wuling KOM. I’d heard of the race up this mountain but hadn’t realised just what a whopper it is: 85km long, rising from sea level to an altitude of 3,275m, it’s instant bucket-list material.
No wonder, as evolve say, that the Wuling KOM is the climb every cyclist in Taiwan dreams of conquering. “When you ride this CIMA, lower your head and push through the climb, you’ll see the number on the top tube. And there it is — the energy.”
CIMA MGK Team Edition

For the third design in the collection evolve have looked for inspiration to their sponsored team, Italian Continental outfit Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente.
This edition is based on the CIMA Speed-Streams wave-inspired pattern design, integrating the team’s colours with a fade from Giro pink to purple-blue.
“Set against a clean white base with a glossy finish, the result is simple, classic, and race-driven,” say evolve. “The neutral white pairs effortlessly with any kit, while the MGK theme colours add a distinct racing identity.”
The evolve CIMA ships as a complete frameset including seatpost, thru axles and headset with ceramic bearings.
