Team Sky sign up fi'zi:k and PRO as partners

LONDON, UK - Team Sky has announced that fi'zi:k will be their new official saddle supplier for the 2012 season and PRO will be their official supplier of handlebars, handlebar tape, stems and disc wheels.

Sky will be one of six WorldTour teams to use fi’zi:k (which is the phonetic spelling of the word physique) saddles during the 2012 season. The 16 year old Italian company will offer Sky riders the chance to use their Arione, Antares, Aliante and the new Kurve range of saddles.

With the PRO tie up, World Champion Mark Cavendish will continue to use his signature Star Series handlebar and stem combination which he has used for the last two seasons, while the remainder of Team Sky will adopt PRO’s Vibe and Vibe 7S range.

fi’zi:k’s Global Sport Marketing Manager Gabriele Benedetti said: “Our ideals at fi’zi:k match perfectly with those at Team Sky so this new partnership is a natural result of that shared vision.
