Quoc reveal lightweight Night lace-up road cycling shoe

Quoc have announced details of their first road cycling shoe, the Night, available for pre-order from 31 March.

Described as "a contemporary take on road cycling", the Night features a lightweight design with a carbon-fibre reinforced outsole and Quoc's signature reflective heel strip.

Like the hugely popular Giro Empire SLX, the Quoc Night taps into a recent trend for lace-up road cycling shoes. However, while the use of laces may look traditional the Night features a patented lacing technique that Quoc say is "designed to withstand all the rigours of high-performance riding and push the limits of innovative style."

The Quoc Night features a patented lacing system and lightweight carbon outsole.

The Night is available in leather or synthetic versions, with notable features including a 3M™ reflective heel strip, rubber shoelace catch, carbon-fibre/Nylon compound outsole, and full road bike cleat compatibility.

The leather version of the Night will be available in black only, while the synthetic version comes in white, black and pink.

The Night will be available in three colours and a choice of leather or synthetic upper.

Pricing is to be confirmed, with pre-orders set to open on 31 March via the Quoc website. Pre-order is limited to the first 500 pairs, with shipping expected in July 2016.
