Just because the Tour de France is on telly doesn't mean the cyclocross season is over - not if MAAP have any say in it!
The MAAP London Summercross series is back with four CX races hosted at London's iconic Herne Hill velodrome.
'Cross racing at a velodrome? Well yes - a course complete with bunny-hoppable barriers has been set up around the outside of the track; apparently there's even a hill called 'Big Bob'.
The four-week series kicks off tomorrow at 5pm on Friday July 7 with races on 14, 28 July and 4 August 2023.
"It's what summer evenings were made for," say sponsors MAAP.
"Rock up for a festival of 'cross racing with DJs, food, a bucket load of beers, more Big Bob action and all-round good times.
"Commemorative musettes, tees and stickers available to light up the party and your next. So see you at the start line - whether you're in the race or having it large from the sidelines, it's time to get stuck in."
Entries are open now, and whether you're racing or spectating it seems the perfect way to start your weekend.
