Gravel Ride Series – Slieve Blooms 2026

Located in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, the Slieve Blooms are no stranger to mountain-biking, but they’ve seen nothing like this before!

The first event in Ireland’s brand-new Gravel Ride Series, Slieve Blooms welcomes gravel cyclists to some of the finest hidden trails in the heart of Ireland.

With access arranged by special permission of the landowners, the routes are not permitted to be published in advance – but rest assured you’re in for a treat… and a challenge!

The historic Kinnitty Castle is our home for the weekend of the GRS Slieve Blooms. Registration opens on the Friday evening 7-9pm, with food and live music until 11pm.

For those arriving on the Saturday, registration is open from 8-10:00am with Corner Shop Coffee open from 8:00. Roll-out is at 10:30am for all riders.

Once out on the course there will be three feed stations along the route. These are located at 21km, 41km and 76km. Feed stations will be stocked with water, energy drink and coke, sweets, fruit, biscuits and cake. Feed stations will also be supplied with tube exchange, tool kit and pump and bottle drop.

Back at event HQ, the Dungeon Bar kitchen will be serving food from 12:30 for a well-earned feed when you cross the finish line!
