Tearfund Teeside Pedal

Tearfund Cycling is an initiative by a small group of Tearfund supporters. With the help of the volunteer resources of local churches, Tearfund Cycling aims to bring you some of the best and most enjoyable cycling experiences and at the same time raise awareness of, and funds for, the work of Tearfund bringing hope and a future to some of the world's poorest communities. Tearfund Cycling is a support group and is not itself a registered charity. For some events there will be an entry fee, part of which might go towards the cost of the event, the rest (usually the biggest part) will be passed on to Tearfund. Where additional donations are encouraged they are paid directly to Tearfund in their entirety and therefore can be gift aided (enabling Tearfund to claim an additional 25% from the tax man).
