The Wiggle Dragon Ride is one of the UK's most popular and challenging sportives, and organisers Human Race have today announced that entries for the 2015 edition will open at 9.00 am on Monday 29 September.

Today also saw the announcement of a new event for 2015: the Dragon Tour, a three-day cycling event that promises to be a must-do for sportive enthusiasts. Full details have yet to be released, but the organisers have confirmed that this new addition to the Wiggle Dragon Ride will have a very limited capacity and feature a special guest speaker.

The 2015 Wiggle Dragon Ride will take place on Sunday 7 June and demand is expected to be higher than ever. Last year capacity for the sportive was reached in less than 24 hours, with the newly introduced 300km Dragon Devil distance filling up in a matter of minutes. Places will be available on a first come, first served basis exclusively through www.humanrace.co.uk/cycling.

Wiggle Dragon Ride veterans, who have taken part at least five times in the past, will be sent a special priority code that will allow them early access and a guaranteed place from the week beginning Monday 22 September. A priority code will also be sent to people who entered the Wiggle Etape Cymru, another of the Human Race Sportive Series, before 15 August.

Now in its twelfth year, the Wiggle Dragon Ride has become a bucket list event for cyclists all over the World. The 2015 event will once again starting from Margam Park, with cyclists given the opportunity to tackle four challenging distances ranging from 42km to the fearsome 300 km Dragon Devil distance. The successful Macmillan Cycletta series will once again be incorporated into the event.

Macmillan Cancer Support return as the official charity of the Wiggle Dragon Ride. The team at Macmillan work hard to improve the lives of people affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support.
