BBB Cycling Launches Slice 600i Front Light With New Smart Features and ModeSync Functionality

With autumn on the horizon, Dutch brand BBB Cycling today launched their new Slice 600i: a compact, computer mounted headlight with smart features designed to enhance visibility and convenience on every ride.

The new Slice 600i expands BBB Cycling’s popular Slice headlight range that attaches directly to the bike’s computer mount. Delivering a maximum output of 600 lumens in steady mode, the new model offers increased visibility for everything from daily commutes to road and gravel rides that stretch into the evening. The enhanced performance is supported by a larger 2,200mAh lithium-polymer battery, providing up to 50 hours of light.

Handily, the Slice 600i can also be used as a power bank for other devices – if you’ve ever been stuck at the roadside with a flat phone or Di2 battery, you’ll appreciate just how useful that could prove.

Other new features include ModeSync, which allows the Slice 600i to connect with BBB’s Signal rear light, enabling both lights to be controlled simultaneously.

The Slice also features an integrated motion sensor that enables Auto On/Off and a Parking mode, making it easier to manage the light without having to reach for the power button.

Here’s a rundown of the new light’s main features:

  • Weight: 108 grams
  • Garmin and Wahoo quarter-lock mount compatible
  • 6 Modes: City, Standard, High, Flash, Dayflash and Steady Flash
  • Mode Memory
  • USB-C Rechargeable
  • Five-LED battery status indicator
  • Powerbank function for charging other devices

The Slice 600i retails at €69.95 / £60, with a front/rear combo set coming in at €99.95 / £86. It sits in the middle of the BBB range, alongside the smaller Slice 300i and the larger capacity StrikeDuo and Nanostrike lights.
