Entry for the HotChillee Roubaix 2017 is now open, giving you the chance to experience the Paris-Roubaix Spring Classic alongside cycling legends with full support from the HotChillee team.
Previous riders include Geraint Thomas, Stephen Roche, Magnus Bäckstedt and Matt Stephens. The 2017 route starts at the Arenberg Forest and follows the last 111km of the Paris-Roubaix, including 17 pavé sections, finishing in the iconic Roubaix velodrome.
The ride takes place on Sunday 23 April 2017, three weeks after the pros tackle Paris-Roubaix - unfortunately this doesn't guarantee better weather!
The weekend begins on Saturday 22 April, with optional coach and bike transfers from the UK. On arrival you'll have the chance to take a "Cobbles Clinic" in the Arenberg Forest with Paris-Roubaix winner, Magnus Bäckstedt - supported by mechanics, medics and HotChillee Ride Captains.
In the evening there's a celebrity dinner with "inside the peloton" Q&A - your chance to get some insider tips for tackling the pavé sectors. Your entry includes accommodation (twin sharing), so get a good night's sleep in preparation for the challenge ahead.
After breakfast on Sunday, the ride sets off with a choice of three groups riding at different speeds: Race Group (29+ km/h), Ride Group (26+ km/h), and Social Group (23+ km/h).
The route takes in the last 111km of the Paris-Roubaix route, with 17 pavé sections including the Arenberg Forest and Le Carrefour de l'Arbre. Riders will enjoy first-class perks including rolling road closures, moto outriders, lead cars, HotChillee Ride Captains and full mechanical support for a pro experience.
Feeling fresh? There's a timed race section on Paris-Roubaix pavé with awards for best male and female, master and grand master.
At the finish you'll have rare access to Roubaix stadium including a lap of the velodrome and use of the original pro-rider showers. With the mud washed off, all that remains is to collect your finisher's medal and event t-shirt, then unwind with a drinks reception in Roubaix velodrome pro-rider bar before heading back to the UK.
