Organisers of the UK's longest-running closed roads sportive, the Marie Curie Etape Caledonia, are lining up some special guest talks to help inspire riders on Saturday 20 May.
Billed as 'Etape Talks', the sessions take place in Pitlochry the day before the Etape Caledonia. Cyclists can expect "a series of inspiring talks hosted by cycling and adventure experts."
The talks will take place in Pitlochry Festival Theatre with the identity of the speakers to be announced in the next few weeks. It's anyone's guess who might show up, but our money's on at least one of Sir Chris Hoy, Graeme Obree or Chris Boardman being involved...
Entry is free to participants in the Etape Caledonia but places are limited to just 100 spaces. Registered participants can enter the ballot for free entry at the Etape Caledonia website.
This year's Etape Caledonia takes place on Sunday 21 May, with entry starting at £85 or £40 for fundraisers. For more information and to enter, visit www.etapecaledonia.co.uk.
