UK Cycling events have revealed a new sportive set to take place in Sussex next June. The Dallaglio RugbyWorks Track Fest will be based at Goodwood Motor Circuit and riders will complete a lap of the track before setting out on a choice of loops through the Sussex countryside.

Taking place on 9th June 2019, Dallaglio Track Fest will offer riders a choice of 100-mile, 57-mile or 28-mile courses. The sportive is part of a weekend-long programme of events at Goodwood, organised by Dallaglio RugbyWorks - the charity set up by former England rugby captain Lawrence Dallaglio.
Saturday 8th June is one for the petrolheads as the circuit hosts a Supercar track day, while the next day sees pedal power take over as the grounds play host to the sportive.
Three glorious sportive routes will take in the beautiful roads and landscapes in and around the South Downs National Park after completing a lap of the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Alongside the sportive, UK Cycling Events have planned a family fun day and race programme.
Riders taking part in the Epic route will be treated to stunning views over Duncton on the descent - a nice reward after the climb out of the Goodwood estate. A fast stretch of 40 miles follows, with an undulating gradient but nothing too strenuous allowing riders to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Riders on both the Epic and Standard routes get the challenge of climbing Harvesting Lane as they make their way up Butser Hill. On a clear day, they will be rewarded with views over the Solent and Isle of Wight.
The three routes are designed to allow riders of all fitness levels to enjoy some challenging climbs or just stretch their legs and enjoy the scenery.
The Family Fun Day will see activities and challenges for all ages and abilities on the track and around the Motor Circuit grounds. The afternoon will see a full programme of racing on the circuit, with full details announced soon.
All ticket prices include a £5 donation to support the work of Dallaglio RugbyWorks, an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on the values of rugby. The charity aims to get teenagers outside of mainstream education into sustained education, employment or training.
