After a break of almost two years, Matt Stephens is back with another episode of The Cafe Ride.
The series sees former pro cyclist and GCN presenter Matt Stephens ride and chat with a range of guests from the world of cycling.
The route, coffee stop and points of interest along the way are chosen by the guest, offering insight into their personality and the reasons they ride a bike.
In the latest episode, Matt joins Pippa York to ride her old training loop to the South West of Glasgow.
One of Britain's most successful cyclists of all time, Pippa was the first to win a major Tour classification when, competing as Robert Millar, she brought home the polka-dot jersey from the 1984 Tour De France.
Now establishing herself as a top broadcaster, Pippa's career in cycling media continues to grow. Matt enjoys stories from her heyday in the peloton as a teammate of Greg LeMond, and discusses the inclusion of transgender athletes with one of the few top athletes to have an informed opinion based on experience.
The episode is now live on the Sigma Sports YouTube channel at www.youtube.com.
It's well worth a watch on your next coffee break.
