The ballot for RideLondon 2022 entries is now complete, with entrants being notified this week whether or not they were successful in getting a place.
This year's RideLondon takes place on 29 May 2022, with a brand new route that loops out of London and through Essex.

It's a lottery
Whereas in past editions the ballot was the only route to entry for RideLondon, for 2022 the organisers released 10,000 places on general sale.
All of those entries sold out within 24 hours last November, with a second allocation being awarded via the public ballot that concluded this week.
As for the route that awaits successful entrants, details are set to be confirmed on 18 February.
The previous course made unlikely heroes of Surrey climbs like Box Hill - helped, of course, by their inclusion in the London 2012 Olympic road race.
Are similar hidden gems lurking in the Essex lanes?
We don't have long to wait to find out; all will be revealed next week.
In the meantime, with three months to go before the return of the UK's biggest closed road sportive, it's time to start training.
