Entries are now open for Granfondo La Fausto Coppi, one of Italy's major annual cycling events.
2024 will see the 35th edition of the granfondo, which is named after one of Italian cycling's most celebrated champions, the great Fausto Coppi.
Based in Cuneo in the northwest of Italy, the Fausto Coppi is considered one of Italy's "big five" granfondos and regularly attracts a high-calibre field of competitive riders alongside keen sportive cyclists.

After the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and a break in 2022, this year's edition of the Granfondo took place on Sunday 25 June. Over 2200 cyclists from 24 countries took part.
The organisers are already looking ahead to next year's edition, which is set to take place on 30 June 2024.
The two traditional routes are confirmed: granfondo (177km) and mediofondo (111km), with the Colle Fauniera as the King Of the Mountains at 2481 metres above sea level.

The event will once again support the project 'Let's save the mountain roads', which works to maintain the mountain roads enjoyed by thousands of riders each year on the granfondo.
Those who want to contribute to the project to save the mountain roads where the Granfondo routes pass, can register for 120 euros (200 places available) and will be included in the first starting grid, i.e. the solidarity grid.

The early-bird registration fee for La Fausto Coppi Officine Mattio 2024 - valid from 1 July to 15 September 2023 - is 50 euros; 500 places are available for this opening tranche of entries.
