Gravel Rocks returns on 12-14 July. Don't miss it!

Hosted by the organisers of the Dirty Reiver, Gravel Rocks takes place on 12-14 July at Duncombe Park Estate in North Yorkshire.

Whereas the Reiver is renowned as the UK's premier gravel race, Gravel Rocks is more like a chilled out cousin: think three days of cycling, partying and good times on and off the bike.

Friday night sees 'Gravel Rocks in the Dark' get the party started. A 10km loop with two timed sections in and around the estate, it's a fun and frenetic lamplight romp through the woods.

Saturday is the main event, your chance to give it all you've got: take on a single loop through classic North York Moors terrain with moorland trails, singletrack descents and further timed stages.

Then on Sunday, it's time to kick back and enjoy some social riding. With free family & supporter events throughout the weekend there is plenty for everyone.

The event village offers food, showers, bar, camping and evening entertainment. There's also a gravel expo, where headline partners Crankbrothers will be joined by Ergon, Tifosi, Exposure Lights, Panaracer, Cliff and Spookton Brewery showcasing the best of their wares.

For riders and non-cyclists who want to come along to support, there is plenty to do within easy reach of the event village. Duncombe Park has a Bird of Prey Centre, riverside/parkland walks and is adjacent to Helmsley Castle and walled gardens.

The nearby village of Helmsley has a wide range of facilities including shops, some great cafes as well as hotels and pubs. Thirsk is also close at hand where you'll the major supermarkets, fuel stations and local bike shops.

It all adds up to a weekend of Gravel that Rocks!
