Entries are now open for the next edition of L'Etape Loch Ness.

The popular closed roads sportive returns on 27 April 2025 with a 66-mile lap of Scotland's most famous loch.

Based in the picturesque Highlands town of Inverness, the Etape Loch Ness is a highlight of the Scottish cycling calendar. Each year thousands of riders from across the UK and beyond flock to take part in the 106km circuit around the iconic loch.

And in 2025, with RideLondon taking a break, it's one of the few opportunties for UK cyclists to enjoy the experience of cycling on traffic-free roads.

The route taken by the event features 900m of climbing, making it accessible to riders of all abilities. That's not to say it's all plain sailing: there is one notable climb of 4.8 miles (9km), and it will once again feature in a timed King of the Mountain competition.

Entries for 2025 cost £77 plus booking fee. Recent editions have often sold out within days of general entries going on sale, so early booking is recommended to avoid missing out.
