Part of the internationl Grinduro series, Grinduro Scotland celebrates "all that is great about cycling: part race, part party, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the stunningly majestic Scottish Highlands."

Two distances are on offer, 100km and a 50km Grindurito, taking in "secret paths, ancient military roads, winding trails, wooded climbs and gripping descents. All in good company to the familiar sound of gravel crunching beneath."

It's not all about the racing at Grinduro: before Saturday's main event there's a Schwalbe shakedown ride on Friday, followed by a hearty locally sourced breakfast on Saturday.

The race course offers a variety of smooth gravel, singletrack and epic views, with four timed sections along the way used to tot up each rider's score in the competition for a podium place. The rest of the course is untimed, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery between sections.

Back at event HQ a festival atmosphere will welcome racers home with guest speakers from the world of gravel and adventure cycling, captivating films, DJ sets, live music and more.

After an evening of partying on Saturday night, there'll be an optional Wahoo 'hangover ride' on the Sunday to dust off the weekend.

Tickets are on sale now priced £140 which includes race entry and access to the festival. Weekend camping can be added for £20 with toilets and showers on site.
