Black Rat Gravel Sportive

Join us for a fabulous day on the bike in the beautiful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

We have 2 distances to choose from for this Gravel Sportive, 88km and 58km.

Both rides start at Devauden, near Chepstow and follow the excellent trails around the top of the Wye Valley before descending to Redbrook, on the banks of the River Wye, where you will find the first feed station.

The two routes split here, with 58km riders skirting the edge of the Forest of Dean before heading back to Devauden and 88km riders heading deep into the Forest to experience the brilliant trails. 

A second feed station for 88km riders will be at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre before you ride back towards the River Wye and climb up through the woods to Devauden and the finish.

The routes will be available as GPX files and we will also sign at important points. 

A hot pasty and cider will be waiting for you at the finish.
