The Bradwell Hill Billy may not be long at just 78km, but it can lay claim to being one of the most challenging short sportive routes in the UK cycling calendar.
Dubbed the Peak District's answer to the Fred Whitton due to its tough seven hill route and 2300m of ascent, the Bradwell Hill Billy attracts local cyclists as well as those from further afield looking for a day of hardcore cycling taking in staggeringly beautiful parts of the Peak District you've probably never seen before.
First organised to raise money for Bradwell Preschool in 2014, the event allows a maximum of 200 entrants keeping the ride a friendly affair and not over subscribing our beautiful country roads.
Daniel Plevey, Event Organiser, says, "We know that the Bradwell Hill Billy is one of the toughest sportive routes in the UK, and we're proud of that. Whether you're an old hand at hardcore cycling, or you want to set yourself an ambitious target for your new 2019 fitness regime, sign up - you'll have fun!"
