Bristol Bears Community Foundation in collaboration with Bristol Sport Foundation and Bristol City Robins Foundation, are excited to bring you ‘Break The Cycle 2024’ on Sunday 30th June 2024.
With a choice of three routes through the Mendips designed by Olympian Oli Beckingsale, 34, 66 or 100 miles, there is a ride for everyone. All routes start and finish at Ashton Gate Stadium.
This year’s event gives cyclists the chance to raise money through entry fees and sponsorship for the rider’s chosen Bristol Sport related charity.
We expect more than 300 riders to enjoy a challenging yet enjoyable day on a bike whilst raising crucial funds for the life-changing work of the Bristol Sport group of charities: Bristol Bears Community Foundation, Bristol City Robins Foundation and Bristol Sport Foundation.
The choice of three routes offers something for everyone, taking all on a well-planned and resourced journey from the home of Bristol Bears into North Somerset, across the Mendips, and for experienced cyclists, it includes the iconic Cheddar Gorge climb. Returning cyclists can expect to enjoy a bite to eat and drink kindly supplied by our friends from Nando’s and Bristol Beer Factory.
‘Fundraising’ cyclists' will have the chance to win various prizes linked to the charity they choose to fundraise for.
