Now going into its 3rd year the Bristol Belter powered by Specialized will be welcoming the riders with a perfect selection of rolling hills, coastal views, lung bursting climbs and spine tingling gorge descents – simply the best North Somerset and the Mendips have to offer. On the 23rd September 2012 NOW three different courses will be started from the Redwood Country Club at the western edge of the city. Riders can expect 1st class start/finish facilities with ample parking right next to the registration and start/finish, showers, toilets and changing facilities (part of the Redwood Country Club). New for 2012: For 2012 we have added a shorter MINI Belter to the line-up, giving riders the chance to get involved who are not too keen to go for the longer distances or just getting into sportives. The now three courses on offer will be primarily run on quite road away from the main flow of traffic and will showcase some of the less obvious climbs and sections the area has to offer. That doesn’t mean that you will not be tested on iconic climbs like the Cheddar George or Burrington Combe but on top of that there will be a few surprised thrown into the mix which will make the ride a real experience even for local sportive riders.
