This year we are inviting riders to cover either 300 or 500 miles over four days. We start in central Bristol early on the morning of Wednesday 13th June and arrive at Portsmouth docks in time to catch an overnight ferry to St Malo.
Once we’ve embarked, rested and refuelled, it’s three fantastic days cycling through rural France, with overnight stops in the region of Nantes and Rochefort. We arrive in Bordeaux on the evening of Saturday 16th June for a well-deserved glass of wine or two!
You can then return to the UK on Sunday 17th by plane or train (self funded) or travel back up north with the support vehicles (included in the Challenge price). The return trip includes an overnight stop in Nantes and a ferry home on Monday 18th June. We arrive back in Bristol that evening.
All we’re asking from you (apart from completing the challenge) is that you cover your own costs for the trip (£395) and that you raise a minimum of £600.00 for PROPS, to help us continue our great work enriching the lives of young people with learning difficulties.
