Ride Coast to Coast ….. in a Day !

Brought to you by the team that stepped in to support riders in 2024 undertake the ride safely.

Ride the now iconic original route, from the West Coast of England, across the Lake District, through the Yorkshire Dales and then the glorious North York Moors, to finish at the beautiful historic seaside town of Whitby.

It is not just the distance of 150 miles that makes this a delightful challenge, there is also the elevation, 4000m taking in the infamous Hardknott and Wrynose climbs. Will you struggle, or glide up these climbs?

The route then continues with, shall we say a few more lumps, some spectacular scenery, swooping descents and a little bit of a sting in the tail before the sights and sounds of the Whitby. What awaits is a fantastic welcome by the gathered spectators, friends and family .. and tourists cheering you to the finish line. 150 miles completed, Coast to Coast done … and in 1 day.

2025 will have us undertaking the event of June 21st, what a memorable way to celebrate the summer equinox!

Drawing on the hugely extensive route development work undertaken by the original developers of Coast to Coast in a Day, this event is designed to continue the original legacy and deliver an exceptional experience for riders.
