Dalby Grit Gravel Race

Entries are now open for Dalby Grit, a new gravel race from Focal Events.

Taking place on the weekend of 27-29 June 2025, Dalby Grit will see racers tackle a 110km gravel course around Dalby Forest in the North York Moors National Park.

The race is organised by Focal Events - creators of the Dirty Reiver, Frontier 300 and Gravel Rocks - and looks set to be a tough race, with 1800m of elevation over 110km of access roads and forest trails.

Racers will compete in categories, with Elite/Pro riders at the pointy end and age categories from 18 and up.

"We have chosen 110km of the finest gravel roads and linking trails in the area," say the organisers.

"Expect close racing on punchy climbs, fast descents and long flatter sections where you can really get the power down!"

Event HQ will open from Friday with a chance to recce the course ahead of the race on Saturday 28 June. On Sunday there will be recovery rides to shake out the legs and enjoy the scenery at a less frenetic pace.

Entry costs £80 with an early-bird discount until the end of November. Camping options are available to purchase when entering.
