The 2014 Etape du Tour will take place on a 148km course starting at Pau-Hautacam, following the path of the 18th stage of 2014 Tour de France 18th step.
Last year, 10,627 competitors made it to the finish line of the 21st Etape du Tour, taking place between Annecy and Annecy-Semnoz. This year will see a change of scenery and mountain range. On Sunday, July 20, you will be riding in the Pyrenees.
Two legendary Tour de France challenges will be waiting for you: the Tourmalet pass (17.1km at an average gradient of 7.3%) and the Hautacam climb (13.6km at an average gradient of 7.8%).
Registration to the Etape du Tour is via the A.S.O. Challenges website from November, with entries for the 2014 edition closing in December 2013. However, places are still available through specialist agencies and the official website has a list of recommended organisations.
