With over 20,000 cyclists taking part on closed roads, the RideLondon-Surrey 100 has quickly become one of Europe's biggest sportives. In 2019 it will be held on Sunday 4 August.
Entry is via public ballot which opens in August 2018.
The ballot will be closed once they receive 80,000 entries. Charity places are also available for riders who commit to raise money for certain designated charities.
In 2016 an additional RideLondon 46 route was introduced, opening up the event to cyclists keen to experience the excitement of riding through the capital on closed roads over a shorter 46-mile distance.
Billed as the cycling equivalent of the London Marathon, it looks likely that it will become harder and harder each year to secure a place in the RideLondon 100.
