Ridge

Ridge is a gravel and road cycling sportive that will take part on 17th of August 2024.

Based out of the wonderful Church Farm Cafe in Aldbury, Tring, this event offers riders the chance to take to the beautiful trails and roads of the Chilterns, as well as tasting excellent food, coffee and socialising with fellow Ridge riders.

The expertly-designed trails will allow riders to take and enjoy the beauty of The Chilterns and everything our fantastic, picturesque countryside has to offer. This event caters for every type of rider with different distances available in both the road and gravel sportives. Individuals can choose the length of ride they prefer, and still enjoy the rest of the event with their fellow Ridge riders.

We have a ‘Team of 4’ ticket option available for those wishing to sign up alongside their friends or cycling club! Not only can you sign 4 riders up at once, there is a 10% discount off the total price!

Ridge will also see the return of 1816’s turbo-challenge, ‘Ride it Like You Stole it’, where riders will be tasked with sprinting as far as they can, as fast as they can in 1 minute. Who will top the leaderboard and win one of the fantastic GRVL prizes?

Food for the weekend will be provided by the excellent Suave Foods team at Church Farm Cafe. All ride tickets will include a post-ride BBQ!

For riders seeking overnight accommodation, we have compiled a list of excellent local campsites and hotels. Along with this list, there are Komoot routes to the cafe (ride start point) from each campsite/hotel.
