Now with the iconic Burway!
We are pleased to announce the 2024 Alex Sherratt Sportive, a 50 and 82 mile hilly ride around some of Shropshire's finest countryside.
It is on the 28th April 2024, starting at the Old Shrewsbury bowls club, and will see riders heading into some of the most stunning countryside Shropshire has to offer. Both have some hilly challenges, though the long route offers some classic Salopian leg burners including the famous Burway, see if you can beat Chris Boardman's time.
The shorter route, whilst lumpy, is a little easier on the legs.
Feed stop at Diddlebury village hall for both routes.
New, updated GPX files for both will be posted in the next few days. The indicative rides are below:
Short: 77km, 1060 metres ascent
