The Bath Beast

Back for 2025. The Bath Beast Cycle Sportive. Sunday 6th July 2025

Soar through Somerset and Wiltshire in this challenging cycle sportive event and raise sponsorship to help support the many people experiencing homelessness and escaping domestic abuse across the Southwest.

Brought to you by Pulse Events and in conjunction with the Julian House Bike Workshop, The Bath Beast 2025 is a Beast of an event, where the longest route of 75 miles covers significant climbs that will push the most experienced cyclists to their limits.

Two routes will take riders through Bath city centre initially, before climbing back up to Claverton Down and then heading south through the breathtaking, scenic countryside. Riders will have the chance on the longer route to cycle through the Longleat estate. There’s 3 feed stations on the 75-mile route and 2 on the 45-mile, fully stocked with High5 products, cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice & other goodies. After the event, there will be food and drinks available to purchase at the finish line.

It’s called the Beast for a reason; everyone knows Bath for its challenging hills and stunning views.

This year’s Bath Beast has a new home at Walcot Rugby Fotball Club

The 45-mile and 75-mile distances are both designed to challenge the most dedicated of riders and will provide a fantastic opportunity for cyclists wanting to discover the undulating hills around Bath.

Each route is a challenge in its own right, and will require riders to activate their Beast Mode, find their inner Beast and push themselves to their limits as they take on some incredible hills and long steady climbs.

Organised by the team from Pulse Events, who have been working to make the routes as challenging and safe as possible, the Bath Beast is gaining a reputation for being a sportive not to be missed.
