The Brecon Devil Sportive

Taking place on 21 September, the Brecon Devil Sportive offers three routes heading north from Brecon into in the gorgeous scenery of the Welsh mountains.

There are 43 mile, 66 mile and a 98 mile route options, each taking riders on a scenic tour of  some of Wales' superb mountain terrain. The area is ideal for cycling, with quiet roads and stunning scenery.

43 mile route – 1722 metres of climbing taking in the climbs of Llandyfalle Hill, Waun Hirwaun, The Eppynt and the easy rolling roads back to Brecon.

66 mile route – 2450 metres of climbing taking in same climbs as the 43 mile route but adding the rolling roads around Abergeswyn and Llanwrtyd Wells.

98 mile route – 4083 metres of climbing taking in the same climbs as the over routes but also adding the Devils Staircase (the classic, brutal climb with two hair pins), and also the tough climbs around Llyn Briane before the climb from Cyngordy upto Crychan Forest.

We will have one food stop for the 43 route, two for the 66 mile route and two for the 98 mile route. All food stops will be supported by High 5 and The Drovers Rest Restaurant.

Muc-Off will have their excellent lube and bike care products at the feed stations as well as at the event HQ.

The entry fee includes:
- Free parking at the sports centre.
- Well designed and marked route.
- Map at HQ and also at the feed stations.
- Food stops – supplied by the award-winning Drovers Rest restaurant
- Broom wagon.
- Medical teams on course as well as at the HQ.
- Emergency contact number.
- A finishers certificate and a High 5 bottle with some sponsors products inside will be provided at the finish. 

We will be using a computer system for the timing and the final rider times will be emailed out to all riders within 24 hours of the finish. The times will also be added to the Cyclosport website.
