Passista is an Italian term for a special type of cyclist.

A Passista is a rider that is strong in mind and body with great power and capable of maintaining a high steady effort for a long periods of time. A Passista's strength and toughness usually makes them great time trialists on the flat and absolute naturals in famous northern classic events.

The Passista Classic Cyclosportive celebrates a new season ahead with routes that a passista type cyclist will enjoy.

Three lovely routes on the lanes of East Sussex make up the testing routes of the Passista Classic. No massive hills but plenty of rolling terrain ideal for great proformances form those riders that have the characteristics of a passista rider. Check out the routes by clicking on the route pages on the top righthand side of this page.
