Tour of the Coltswolds

The Tour of Cotswolds Sportive will be held on Sunday 22 July 2012 and will offer 2 challenging but beautiful rides through the heart of England & Wales' largest area of outstanding natural beauty. The sportive will start from Shipston on Stour and both the 80 mile EPIC and 50 mile CHALLENGE events will be comprehensively signed posted, route cards with emergency contact details will be provided to each rider and full .gpx files will be available for riders to upload to GPS devices. Both rides will flow from beautiful Cotswold village through rolling countryside lanes to the next beautiful village with some challenging climbs on the way - the 80 mile EPIC ride is a tough challenge and takes in the climbs of Blockley, Stanway, Campden Lane and, home to the 2010 National Hill Climb Championship, Dover's Hill. The 50 mile CHALLENGE route takes in Blockley and Dover's Hill, with an option to add an extra 3 miles to your ride and take in the climb of Campden Lane should you choose
