PRO RIDE
The Pro Ride gives riders the chance to take on the challenge of the full 200 kilometre opening stage of this year's Tour of Britain, from Ipswich to the Norfolk Showground, just a day before the world's top cyclists take on the same route.
Starting from Christchurch Park in Ipswich, scene of a SKODA King of the Mountains in the 2011 Tour, riders will head through Woodbridge, Leiston, Southwold, Lowestoft and onto in Norfolk and Great Yarmouth.
The route loops around the north of Norwich via Coltishall, Reepham and Dereham to the finish on the Norfolk Showground.
CHALLENGE RIDE
The Challenge Ride gives cyclists the chance to experience the opening stage of the 2012 Tour of Britain, without having to take on the same full 200-kilometre distance as the professionals.
Taking place the day before the world’s top riders race Stage One of The Tour, the Challenge Ride takes in the second half of the stage, from Great Yarmouth to the Norfolk Showground, a distance of 92-kilometres.
Heading inland from Great Yarmouth and through The Broads, the route loops around the north of Norwich via Coltishall, Reepham and Dereham to the finish on the Norfolk Showground.
