Velo29-Altura Stockton Endeavour Sportive

The Endeavour was Velo29′s first Sportive, started in 2010. Part of the now huge Stockton Festival we wanted to establish our first event on the roads we know best, the North Yorkshire Moors.

As young racing Cyclists we would train on these roads all year round, enjoying the views, climbs, fast descents, little Villages and usually car free roads.

Of course not everyone wants to tackle Chimney Bank so we added 4 routes. Ranging form the Short Sport, almost flat at 36 miles it’s great for the occasional rider and first time Sportive rider, right through to the hardcore experienced rider wanting a serious challenge in the 90 mile long route.

The Endeavour has everything, great facilities from HQ to feeds and signage, great support out on the course, over 500 riders and a really friendly atmosphere.

We’ve held all the prices since our first event too! Velo29 events are accessible to everyone who wants to enjoy riding their bike.
