Are you ready to take on the highest mountain in the Canary Islands?
At 2361m above sea level, Tenerife's Mount Teide is considered the highest mountain in Spain - and you can conquer it on the Vuelta al Teide.
Two routes are on offer, the 175 full course takes in a mighty 4400m of elevation gain including a summit of Mount Teide before the reward of a very long descent back to the start point in Puerta de la Cruz.
If that sounds excessive, try the Half: this 95km route starts at 930m elevation before summiting Teide; although it still packs in 2000m of climbing so we'd hardly call it the easy option!
Entries are open now, with earlybird pricing until 31 October.
