The Watchet Marauder is a new charity sportive starting and finishing in the centre of the seaside town of Watchet, nestled between Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills AONB. There are two cycle challenges to choose from - a 70 mile route and a shorter 37 mile route, both of which are fully sign posted, with rider support and stunning scenery guaranteed.
As well as putting a fantastic cycling event on the calendar, the main aim of the event is to raise money and awareness for Watchet Roots, a local children and families’ charity serving West Somerset. 100% of the profits made from the Watchet Marauder will go to the charity. More information about Watchet Roots can be found at www.watchetroots.org.uk
Watchet is an ideal place to host the event, and with the start and finish HQ being situated at the Marina in the town centre, we are confident that this will be a unique and friendly event that riders will want to return to year after year.
