Head over to the Isle Of Wight for the ultimate Winter MTB experience!

With a short ferry ride from the mainland, mince pies, indoor feed stations, and hot drinks, this is an end of season must!

The course begins with a picturesque warm up along the river Yar cycle path - its the only flat bit of trail you will see until you return!

The downland trails are punctuated with big views, big hills and big thrills as you wend your way east towards Shorewell and its chute. Here the course splits and heads north to the interior with views over Carisbrooke Castle and to the mainland on a clear day.

The Tennyson trail marks the turn for home - the final ascent to Brook Down provides a suitable finale to a big day out with views across Freshwater Bay and its distinct white chalk cliffs.

With festive feed stations on route you’ll have the time to top up on energy levels and get into the Christmas spirit with Mince pies and hot drinks!
