Lakelander Gravel Grinder: Entries open for Ireland's gravel "Big Dog"

Entries are now open for the Lakelander Gravel Grinder.

Hailed as Ireland's Premier gravel cycling event, The Lakelander Gravel Grinder returns again to Co Fermanagh. This year's edition takes place on Saturday 8 October 2022.

The Lakelander is a challenging off-road ride that follows in the trail of US gravel races and their UK equivalents like The Dirty Reiver.

Open to gravel, cyclocross, adventure bike, MTB and even e-MTB riders, the two routes see riders traverse through relatively unexplored areas of forest wilderness.

The routes - Big Dog 100k and Little Dog 50k - sweep through seven UNESCO heritage forests with up to 1880 metres of elevation, while providing stunning views of countryside and even a Game of Thrones film set.
