Entries are now open for the Roof of England Sportive, a new event for 2015 which will replace the Etape Pennines.
Taking place on 30 August 2015, the Roof of England Sportive offers three courses of 90, 53 and 35 miles. Riders can expect a stiff challenge, with up to 9000 feet of climbing in the North Pennines. Event HQ is in the village of St John's Chapel in County Durham.
To enter visit the British Cycling website or drop into the Chatterbox Cafe in St John's Chapel, which also offers rental bikes for scoping out the course in advance.
